Doctor Who is a British science fiction tv show produced by BBC. The programme explores the adventures of a Time Lord—a time travelling, alien known as the Doctor. He travels the universe in his 'TARDIS', a sentient, telepathic time-and-space-travel machine that flies through the time vortex and even space. Its exterior appears as a blue British police box, a common sight in Britain in 1963, when the series first aired. Along with a succession of companions, the Doctor faces a variety of foes while working to save civilisations, help ordinary people, and right wrongs.

The Hunger Games is a 2008 young adult novel by American writer Suzanne Collins. It is written in the voice of Katniss Everdeen, who lives in the post-apocalyptic nation of Panem, where the countries of North America once lived. The Capitol, a highly advanced metropolis, exercises political control over the rest of the nation. The Hunger Games are an annual event in which one boy and one girl aged 12–18 from each of the twelve districts surrounding the Capitol are selected by lottery to compete in a televised battle to the death, intill only a victor is left.
